9 September (Sat), House of Vans Kuala Lumpur at APW Bangsar

Join Vans for a one-day celebration of art, skateboarding and music. There is a skateboarding competition going on along with art workshops. At night, catch live performances from Hujan, Dirgahayu and Zamaera from 8pm onwards—RSVP here

10 September (Sun), Unclose x Kyogg at Playspace, Damansara

See out the weekend with a bang with Japanese art rock trio Unclose and their rich genre-defying sounds. Reppin’ the local pool is opening act Kyogg, an electro rock duo hailing from Terengganu.

15 September (Fri), Philco Fiction with Nadir at Live Fact, KL

Groove it out on a Friday night with Oslo-based synth-pop duo Philco Fiction as they bring their nostalgia-tinged Scando-pop to KL for an intimate night at Live Fact. They’ll be joined by Nadir, the tri-lingual local band known for their explosive energy and colourful plethora of sounds.

17 September (Sun), Tiger #UncageMusic presents FKJ at The Bee, Publika

Multi-instrumentalist French Kiwi Juice, or better known as FKJ, will be in town next week for a night to perform his New French House grooves. Opening the show is local producer and fellow multi-instrumentalist Shelhiel, while making it a complete audiovisual experience is creative Brindha Kumar, who will be transforming the venue with her artwork.

20 September (Wed), Lucy Rose: Kuala Lumpur Cinema Show 2017 at The Bee, Publika

Beat the mid-week blues with Lucy Rose as the English singer-songwriter makes a stop here as part of her Worldwide Cinema Tour. The show will include a documentary screening of her debut tour of Latin America last year, and a full live performance by Lucy and her band.

24 September (Sun), Behind the Shadow Drops at Live Fact, KL

Behind the Shadow Drops is the new solo project of Mono’s guitarist and composer, Takaakira ‘Taka’ Goto. Here, he creates the soundtrack-like dark musical world he’s known for by combining elements of Ambient, Trip Hop and other minimal musical elements.

24 September (Sun), Gentle Bones Live in Kuala Lumpur at The Bee, Publika
