As the world’s first-ever global live toy unboxing event, the online phenomenon will be revealing a scope of Star Wars: The Force Awakens products in a lead up to the opening of toy retailers around the world on ‘Force Friday’. Kicking off on the morning of September 3 in Sydney, Australia, the toy unboxing spectacle will be making its way across 15 cities in the span of 18 hours, with the grand finale taking place at Lucasfilm in San Francisco.
With commentators Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez hosting the live stream, the Star Wars YouTube channel will be following the unveiling of products across 12 different countries. Alongside popular online personalities, including EvanTubeHD, ExpCaseros and AlexBy11, fans across the globe are invited to join in on this exciting experience by simply tuning in on their electronic devices. The 18-hour live stream will not only screen the unboxing of the merchandise but also provide commentary on the upcoming film from special guests, exclusive footage from recent Star Wars events and much more.
In Malaysia, Star Wars: The Force Awaken products will be available on ‘Force Friday’ 4 September 2015 at Toys “R” Us Mid Valley. There will be exclusive freebies for the first 300 paying customers and special prizes to be won for best dressed, Star Card Top Spender and trivia quiz winners.
