Hello, September! What better way to usher in a brand new month than by checking out its exciting roster of films and TV shows waiting for you in the pipeline? 

From the return of fan-favourite shows such as Alice in Borderland and Only Murders in the Building to Jun Ji-Hyun’s long-awaited comeback to the small screen with Tempest and the woeful conclusion of Wednesday season two, these are the best films and TV shows to stream in September.

 

Wednesday Season 2 Part 2

When and where: 3 September 2025 on Netflix

Watch if: You want to find out if Wednesday saves Enid 

Starring: Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Steve Buscemi, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Hunter Doohan

It’s time to return to Nevermore Academy as the mystery around Wednesday’s vision comes to a head. When her psychic powers falter, she must fight to regain them or face the deadly consequences for Enid and others at Nevermore.
