For one night only: An Evening with The Phantom of the Opera in KL

The Phantom of the Opera began its run on Broadway in 1988. The beautiful music by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stillgoe brought the novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux to life in spectacular manner, and three decades on, it remains one of the most beloved musicals of all time.

If you have been longing to hear the classics of the iconic musical live, then mark down 18 April on your calendar. For one night only, Milestone Production is set to present ‘An Evening with The Phantom of the Opera’, a musical concert celebrating the musical’s 30th anniversary on Broadway. Taking place at the Manhattan Ballroom in Berjaya Times Square Hotel, the 75-minute show will feature world-class theatre performers Michael Cormick and Claire Lyon. Your favourite songs are in good hands—Cormick played the lead role of Raoul in the London West End production of The Phantom of the Opera for three years, while Lyon took on the role of Christine in the World Tour of the musical from 2012 to 2015.

The two renowned performers will be belting out the show’s best tunes—as well as songs from other musicals—under the leadership of music director Bernard Walz. Safe to say you’ll be in for a night to remember.

An Evening with The Phantom of the Opera will take place at 8.30pm in the Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Times Square KL. For ticketing and more information, visit www.milestone-entertainment.com
