20 Glitzy Twitter reactions to ‘Hollywood’—Ryan Murphy’s first project with Netflix

*Spoilers ahead*

Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, Hollywood aims to transport audiences to the realm of the Hollywood Golden Age. Netflix‘s new miniseries is executive produced by the likes of Janet Mock, Darren Criss, Jim Parsons, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Ned Martel among others. This is also Ryan Murphy’s inaugural release with Netflix.

Set in the post-World War Two era, the cast includes David Corenswet, Darren Criss, Laura Harrier, Joe Mantello, Dylan McDermott, Jake Picking, Jeremy Pope, Holland Taylor, Samara Weaving, Jim Parsons, Patti LuPone, Michelle Krusiec, Mira Sorvino, and Queen Latifah. The cast sure is massive but definitely filled with talent and star power.

The premise of the show revolves around a group of aspiring actors trying to make their mark in Hollywood—at a time when major barriers include race, gender, sexuality, and religion. It’s Hollywood in the 1940s. How different are things now compared to that zeitgeist? How accurate are some of the show’s depictions of iconic actors and actresses?
