Netflix‘s new miniseries is executive produced by the likes of Janet Mock, Darren Criss, Jim Parsons, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Ned Martel among others. This is also Ryan Murphy’s inaugural release with Netflix.

The premise of the show revolves around a group of aspiring actors trying to make their mark in Hollywood—at a time when major barriers include race, gender, sexuality, and religion.
