Narmi, Reza Salleh and Ali Aiman have two things in common: 1) they all write and sing their own songs and 2) being a singer-songwriter is not the only talent they have to offer.
When he isn’t on one of his #narmiadventures, Imran takes up groove duty on the drums for One Buck Short, a role he’s been playing long before his singer-songwriter debut, under the stage name Narmi. We also have Reza Salleh onboard this week; aside from his own music, the founder of Moonshine has been organising gigs for years now (Moonshine turns 11 this month!) and has provided a platform for some of the most talented local musicians of this generation to take their first step in the scene—Yuna, anyone? Then we have Ali Aiman, joining us fresh off the release of his debut album Circles. Fun facts: he is a part-time lecturer at ICOM, his alma mater, he plays the piano, guitar and the trumpet. That is a whole lot of talent in one car.
Watch as we drive the guys around in our trusty Audi Q7, even sneaking in a full song on the guitar in this episode of #BuroJams:
