Who is the Versace man? There’s something in his air—a mythical creature that embodies unadulterated charm, whose passion and seduction lays front and centre. Almost god-like, he is divine in both love and beauty, drawing in desire wherever he goes.
This fabled man comes to life in Versace Eros. Inspired by the God of love himself (and named accordingly), the Eros fragrance family captures the essence of its namesake, right down to the very last drop.
Our choice is the Eros Eau de Parfum. A complex, delicate blend of woody accords and creamy citrus, the Eros EDP is a captivating scent. The fragrance is topped with a sprightly blend of bright citrus and fresh mint, underscored by the unexpected and indulgent addition of sweet candied apple. It then deepens, opening up to reveal a grounded, woody blend of sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli that is punctuated with the pairing of creamy vanilla and musky leather.
It’s a scent that doesn’t shy away from contrast—rather, it embraces its inherent duality, melding its many facets together beautifully. Better yet, its formulation is completely vegan, so you can embody the Versace man yourself with a clear conscience.
To top it off, the fragrance is housed in a stunning flacon that has no parallel. Cloaked in a vivid, masculine blue, the bottle draws inspiration from the Mediterranean. A Greco-Roman geometric pattern is inlaid into the delicate glass, framing the Medusa head that emerges from the bottle’s centre. The same Medusa—the house’s emblematic logo—is found once again on the bottle’s cap, this time cast in gold and wrapped in the same vivid blue of the bottle’s glass.
Launched in Malaysia in 2021, we celebrated one year of the Versace Eros EDP with a rousing celebration at SOGO KL. The event was hosted by the inimitable Elly Mazlein and Nabil Ahmad, and in attendance were familiar faces like Athisha Khan, Emma Maembang, Athina Kamarudin, Hawa Rizwana, Shaza Bae, and Azfar Heri.
