Sensual fragrances that make you feel beautiful
Turn heads with these scents
Certain fragrance notes have the ability to change the way you feel about yourself and how you are perceived to people—the latter for obvious reasons, of course. But scents that are perfect perk-me-ups likely have sensual notes, such as vanilla bean, ylang ylang and golden amber. We rounded up three sensual fragrances that will amp up your desirability factor, along with making yourself feel incredibly empowered and sexy (which is a must, especially for nights out painting the town red).
Christian Dior Fève Délicieuse, RM 869 for 125 ml
A newcomer under La Collection Privée Christian Dior, this luscious fragrance is built around South African tonka beans scented with Madagascan vanilla. This dark bean, found in the fruit of a Dypterix Odorata tree, is attractively aromatic with a potent mixture of caramel, hay and praline. By associating it with smoky notes of Madagascan vanilla, a balmy, milky-sweet composition is rendered.
Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Intense, RM 365 for 50 ml
The latest, more intense version of the classic La Vie Est Belle, which was the top-selling fragrance in France in 2014, has two new ingredients to its composition: tuberose—a rich and heady flower that grows in white clusters; and crisp hazelnut. This floral bouquet also includes ylang-ylang, Sambac Jasmine and orange blossom, with woody base notes of patchouli and tonka bean.
Victoria's Secret Forever Sexy
Combine sexy with a dash of provocative and you'll find Victoria's Secret Forever Sexy—a tulle-overlaid bottle of sultry, warm-scented fragrance. Its main notes include belladonna orange, solar gardenia and golden amber. With a sweet, woody and earthy scent, golden amber is one of the most expensive ingredients in a perfumer's palette, thanks to its long-lasting and fixative abilities. Look out for its debut in stores come September 2015.
