The Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF50 sunscreen is the brand’s first truly universal formula, made for every skin type and skin tone. To learn more about the new product, we took a trip to Singapore to attend the brand’s official South East Asia launch, where we sat down with Supergoop!’s International Senior Vice President, Natalia Obolensky—here’s the inside scoop:

This new launch is unlike any other sunscreen in Supergoop!’s collection. While the brand is known for its impressive range of multitasking suncare essentials—the Unseen Sunscreen, Glow Screen, and Matte Screen double as makeup primers while the Daily Dose Vitamin C SPF40 Serum is more of a skincare essential than a suncare standalone—they were yet to create an everyday formulation for all… until now.
Serum-like in texture and delightfully lightweight, the Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion glides onto the skin easily, absorbing instantly and leaving a moisturisng film behind with absolutely no white cast—that’s right, even for those with the deepest of skin tones.

“We wanted to create a solid, everyday universal sunscreen. It’s called Every. Single. Face because it’s intended to be worn on every single face, in every single place, every single day,” explains Obolensky. “We made sure it had that barely-there finish so it could sit on any skin tone and skin type, and we made sure that it checked all the boxes.”
Packed with avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene filters, Every. Single. Face. is a clean chemical sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection against the sun, blocking out both UVA and UVB rays. That’s not where the benefits end, though—the new formulation also goes a step further, harnessing the power of the industry’s buzziest skincare actives to create a caring formula that caters to a range of different skin types.

“We really wanted it to have universal benefits, so it has got some really exciting ingredients in it.” Obolensky elaborates. “Amino acids lock in hydration so that [the formulation] is not drying to dry or dehydrated skin, there’s no oil in the formula so that it’s not greasy on oily skin, and there’s niacinamide in there which controls oil levels and refines the pores. It can be layered, used under makeup, used as your last step, or used at the beach as it’s highly water-resistant.” In short, it is a versatile formulation that suits everyone and anyone.
Further, those worried about how the sunscreen will perform in Malaysia’s sweltering heat need not fret—Every. Single. Face. has been specially formulated for our tropical climate: “The Every. Single. Face. sold in [South East Asia] is actually different to the one sold in the US. It has been specially formulated for the hotter and more humid climate, so it is actually a lighter version of the sunscreen,” Obolensky reveals. “Both are very universal, but it was just a slight tweak to make it with slightly less oil so it holds up better in the humidity.”

In short, the new sunscreen is meant to be your new go-to, and this philosophy is even reflected in the packaging. According to Obolensky, “the circle represents two different things: The first is the sun, which we’re protecting you from. The second is the cycle of every single day—putting on your sunscreen in the morning and reapplying regularly.”
Of course, it also helps that the packaging is perfectly portable so you can follow through on your routine reapplication!
PS: For those concerned about how the sun lotion reapplies, rest assured that it layers over itself like a dream; no pilling, no cast and absolutely no greasiness. While it hasn’t been formulated to be reapplied over a full face of makeup, it can be effortlessly layered with Supergoop!’s other products, such as the Glow Stick or the (Re)setting Mineral Powder.

BURO’s top tips for Supergoop!’s Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF50:
- Apply at least ¼ teaspoon of the Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion to cover your face (Obolensky says “If in doubt, add a little more”)
- Wait for a few minutes for your sunscreen to absorb into your skin before stepping outside or moving on to the next step in your morning routine.
- Reapply every four to six hours—sooner if you’re sweating or swimming!
