The latest Bedat & Co Ref. 823 sees the abstract graphic of leaves of a plant, representing the permanent rebirth of nature and displays the position of time. Featuring a stainless steel round case and translucide mother-of-pearl dial, this timepiece is ideal for women who evoke a sense of sophisticated elegance unlike any other. Inspired by art deco iron artist Paul Kliss, the Arabesque design on the dial is paired with a beautiful rotating diamond in the centre axis, exuding an elegant charm which further adds on to the charisma of a lady.
“When I am designing for Bedat & Co…there is Simone Bedat on my side or in the back of my mind. I feel the person, how she was, what she liked,” says Dino Modolo, Bedat & Co.’s creative director. “She was always selecting drawings that were balanced in term of aesthetic, function and value. Drawings needed to be classic with a touch of long lasting fashion feel, which when you think about it, is in contradiction with the fashion definition in the pure sense. She wanted to be ahead of the others.”
