The city’s biggest celebration of regional art talents is back! The KL Illustration Fair is perhaps one of the most highly anticipated events in the local creative space, bringing together a slew of regional graphic artists, illustrators, and creators together under one roof. KL Cocktail Week 2026 has taken over the city’s top bars and this Saturday, it’s heading to Sentul Depot for its annual Festival Village. Over at The Dia Space, Ilham Alshahab is hosting her second solo exhibition, inspired by her quest for significance in her daily life. The pieces reflect the artist’s perception of her own cycling route, which has become a tool for her to hone in on details that usually go unnoticed. Her pieces usually span mediums and methods, but this exhibition has opened a new realm for her: oil pastels. What starts as a painted surface turns into a detailed, textured canvas that reveals layers in her memories of her surroundings.
