It’s during these moments that the right setting can transform an ordinary meal into a truly memorable occasion.
This year, Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) and KLGCC Convention Centre (formerly Sime Darby Convention Centre) present two distinct dining experiences to celebrate the season of togetherness, each thoughtfully curated to suit different kinds of festive plans. From casual nights enjoyed over generous buffets to celebrations designed for larger groups, both venues honour tradition and hospitality while creating spaces for connection between loved ones.
‘SANTAPAN TRADISI’ AT DAPUR BY KUALA LUMPUR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

Set against the tranquil backdrop of the Golfers Terrace poolside, Santapan Tradisi at Dapur invites guests to unwind and savour each dish at a leisurely pace. Ideal for smaller families and groups of friends, the menu showcases familiar kampung flavours through a vibrant medley of dishes that cater to every palate.

The spread features hearty mains inspired by regional favourites, such as daging rendang tok Perak, nasi biryani, kambing masala, ikan patin tempoyak, and ayam masak merah berempah. Complementing these robust flavours is an array of kerabu salads—including kerabu mangga, kerabu perut, kerabu kerang, and kerabu betik—which adds bright, tangy contrasts to the meal.

A highlight of the experience is the daily lineup of live cooking stations. From marinated meats sizzling on the grill, such as kambing panggang perapan mahligai, to wok-fried char kuey teow diraja and a selection of fresh seafood, every item is made to order to ensure maximum flavour. These interactive booths not only add excitement to the buffet but also let diners personalise their plates according to their tastes.

Of course, no feast is complete without a sweet ending, and the menu’s dessert options offer both comfort and nostalgia. Diners can fill their bowls with refreshing classics like bubur pumpkin kacang hijau, honeydew sago with milk, and lai chee kang. Meanwhile, those seeking a more decadent treat can choose the durian puffs, which are a must-try.

‘SELERA WARISAN’ AT D’ANJUNG BY KLGCC CONVENTION CENTRE

While close-knit gatherings define many festive evenings, the season also brings larger reunions—corporate dinners, extended families, and group celebrations that call for a more expansive venue. Selera Warisan by D’Anjung at KLGCC Convention Centre is designed to meet these needs with ease, making it a reliable choice for organised events.

Set in a spacious indoor environment that accommodates big groups, KLGCC Convention Centre’s newly refreshed interior adds to the experience with its fresh, contemporary look so you can dine in comfort. The menu features well-loved local dishes such as daging salai masak lemak, rendang ayam minang, udang goreng bawang, and kambing masak biryani. Sweet finales come in the form of assorted santapan bubur, including bubur pulut hitam, pengat pisang, and serawa durian.

Adding to the evening’s appeal, the live grilling stations present smoky meats and skewers that are as impressive as they are aromatic. Signature highlights include kambing panggang serantau, legendary satay, and special lidah bakar.
