FOUR SEASONS KUALA LUMPUR

Yun House at the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur is ringing in the Year of the Horse with set menus and a la carte offerings that will add some flair to your celebrations. There are three set menus available—Majestic, Auspicious, and Yun House Fortuity—that each opens with the restaurant’s signature yee sang, topped with smoked salmon and shaved black truffles. Other star dishes across the menus include braised abalones with winter melon and roasted London duck with herbal essence. FIFTY TALES

Fifty Tales has revealed a refreshed Cincai Dinner menu of hearty and refreshing takes on ingredients that are deemed crucial to all Chinese New Year celebrations. Available in both a la carte and set formats, the dishes honor tradition while keeping things polished and playful. The entire menu centers around the house special yee sang as well as the crowd favourite truffle Hokkien char. Must-have dishes include the drunken Nobashi prawn, cured pomfret with Penang strawberries, sweet & spicy basil pork ribs, and Teochew-style steamed tiger grouper. The restaurant has also introduced a trio of festive cocktails, made in collaboration with Drink Connexions, to complement the meal.

THE ST. REGIS KUALA LUMPUR

The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur proudly debuts its Masterstrokes of the Stallion series for this year’s Chinese New Year celebrations in honour of the horse’s strength and elegance. Over at The Brasserie, the season will see the Auspicious Sunday Brunch as well as the Auspicious Longevity six-course set menu. The former includes all the fix-ins needed for a truly luxurious seasonal dining experience, including champagne and the restaurant’s take on yee sand. Meanwhile, the latter is an exquisite festive offering rooted in traditional Chinese flavours.
For a more intimate experience, The Imperial Stallion Feast offers you and your guests a meaningful gathering experience in one of the hotels’ private dining rooms. As for cocktails, Astor Bar has revealed a special collection of cocktails infused with the flavours of the season from pineapples to oranges. Those visiting on Thursday nights will also get to enjoy some live jazz music alongside their tipples.

In the spirit of the Galloping Horse, Shang Palace’s offerings include auspicious dishes such as steamed deep-sea grouper and double-boiled black chicken soup with abalone dot the set menus, perfect for reunions of any size.
