WHAT IS APPLE CREATOR STUDIO?

As mentioned above, Apple Creator Studio is the tech giant’s very own subscription-based bundle of creative apps that builds on the intuitive and familiar experiences of already-existing software such as Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. Each subscription will include full access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage, as well as new Al-driven features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
VIDEO EDITING

With Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad faster than ever before, users can get unparalleled performance with an arsenal of new intelligent features that make the entire video editing process even more effortless. Headlining new features include Transcript Search and Visual Search, which allow users to easily locate soundbites and video clips within the timeline respectively.

Meanwhile, Montage Maker in Final Cut Pro for iPad assists users in creating compilation videos by analysing and piecing together a sequence based on visuals, pacing, and music. For incredible motion graphics capabilities, Motion has been introduced as your go-to for cinematic 2D and 3D effects to add to your videos with smart features such as Magnetic Mask. Compressor, on the other hand, works with both Motion and Final Cut Pro to customise output settings for export and distribution.
MUSIC PRODUCTION

Logic Pro has also been given the Apple Creator Studio upgrade with new tools that will take your songwriting, remixing, and composition to the next level. Synth Player—now part of the AI Session Player lineup—offers an impressive range of chordal and synth bass parts, while Chord ID can automatically translate your audio files or MIDI recordings into chord progressions.

A new Sound Library has also been introduced with Apple-designed packs and Producer Packs, full of royalty-free loops, samples, and more. Other new groundbreaking features include Quick Swipe Comping, Music Understanding, and more. For vocalists and musicians alike, the new MainStage will come in handy as a comprehensive tool for Mac that can act as an instrument, voice processing, or guitar rig.
CREATIVE IMAGING

Pixelmator Pro has also made its way into the Apple Creator Studio suite, with its powerful editing experience for images. From designing and drawing to painting and refining, the image editor is now on iPad with full Apple Pencil support, having previously been exclusively on Mac. Features such as the full Layers sidebar, smart selection, Warp, Super Resolution, Deband, and Auto Crop allow for users to naturally create designs wherever they go with full capabilities.
PRODUCTIVITY AND BEYOND

Apple’s renowned productivity apps Keynote, Pages, and Numbers have been a mainstay in its ecosystem for more than 20 years now. With Apple Creator Studio, the trio, along with Freeform, now offers a slew of new features, giving users an elevated experience in their workflow. It starts with Content Hub, a one stop shop for high-quality photos, graphics, and illustration. Subscribers will also get access to premium templates and themes in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.

Building off Image Playground, Apple Creator Studio also allows users to create images from text and even transform existing images with OpenAI. Super Resolution, on the other hand, uses on-device AI models to increase the quality of otherwise subpar images. Finally, Auto Crop analyses photos to provide users with the optimal composition for their photos.
Free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform will continue to be available for all to use, including Apple Creator Studio subscribers, and will be receiving updates as they are released.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

Apple Creator Studio will be available on the App Store starting 29 January for RM29.90 per month or RM299 per year with a one-month free trial. College students and educators can access it for RM9.90 per month or RM99 per year.
