A decade since the last edition, BMW Group Malaysia proves that some things are well worth the wait with the return of My BMW World 2025. Held from June 12 to 15, the powerful showcase unveiled four new locally assembled vehicles in its portfolio, which expand on the German automaker’s continuous evolution and innovation in premium mobility.
From the sport-driven elegance of the BMW 3 Series to the versatility of the BMW X3 and the individualistic BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé, each model embodies a commitment to BMW’s future-forward design and performance to meet the needs of today’s drivers.
The three-day spectacle saw an epic takeover of The Yard at Sentul Depot, transforming the historic railway engineering workshop into an immersive showcase that embodies BWM Group Malaysia’s ethos of bringing bold and innovative ideas to life. From the impressive signage to the row of BMW’s finest vehicles lining the entrance, visitors were greeted with the excellence of the German automaker miles away.
The venue was packed with a variety of interactive activities, engaging installations to entertain and inform visitors. Not to mention, plenty of picture-worthy spots littered every corner. Upon entering, guests were brought on a journey through BMW’s legacy with a photo wall that detailed the automaker’s milestones across innovation, sustainability, and motorsport.
As the showcase began, visitors made their way to the remarkable Launchpad, a towering stage decked with incredible light fixtures and a 360 LED screen, which was impressive with its scale and production. There, a variety of BMW’s iconic vehicles made their way down the runway under a spectacular show of lights and striking visuals.
Visitors were also able to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere at the BMW Cafe alongside several delicious F&B options and peruse limited-edition My BMW World merchandise available exclusively at the event.
Further amplifying the experience was the BMW X Challenge held right outside the venue. There, visitors not only got to see but also feel the impressive capabilities of BMW xDrive in real-world driving conditions for themselves.
Whether it was on a Two-Wheel Lift Diagonal Ramp, Staggered Ramp, or Roller Ramp, participants got to go behind the wheel to test out BMW’s advanced traction systems and chassis engineering first-hand—an experience that would no doubt shape unforgettable memories.
New BMW 330i M Sport and New BMW 320i M Sport
As BMW’s best-selling model, fans of the BMW 3 Series will be happy to see more comprehensive updates in the all-new BMW 330i M Sport and BMW 320i M Sport. Its sleek and sporty exterior now features ambient lighting to provide illumination of the area in front of the doors, a new projection developed specifically for the New BMW 3 Series.
Inside, both models impress with a modernised cabin, thanks to their improved BMW Curved Display. Powered by BMW Operating System 8.5 with QuickSelect, the system allows drivers to quickly and conveniently access key functions, including navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings for a smooth journey ahead.
New BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport
Levelling up the premium compact segment is the New BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport, which marks a bold evolution of a model that first made its mark in 2020. At the front, the newly sculpted BMW Iconic Glow Kidney grille is framed by Adaptive LED headlights, modernising BMW’s renowned four-eyed look. In profile, the Gran Coupé silhouette remains athletic and elegant with a revised Hofmeister kink embossed with the number “2”.
Inside, the New BMW 218 Gran Coupé M Sport presents a harmonious blend of modern precision and sporting character. A fully digital cockpit with intuitive connectivity dominates the dashboard while a three-spoke Sport steering wheel with multifunction controls greets drivers.
New BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport
Combining sporty dynamics for everyday driving, the New BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport packs an array of upgrades in its phase of evolution, featuring a bold new design language characterised by expansive surfaces and sharp contours.
Inside, the New BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is all about technology and digital connectivity with the BMW Curved Display and Interaction Bar at the forefront. Powered by the new BMW Operating System 9 with QuickSelect, drivers can effortlessly access a variety of functions while interacting with the vehicle through touch, voice control, or the BMW Controller.
