Johnny Coca joined Mulberry as creative director mid last year, two years after Emma Hill’s departure from the office in 2013. We had a brief preview of what Coca is bringing to the brand with the new Kite tote, and if that is anything to go by, we are definitely looking forward to his debut for Mulberry at London Fashion Week.
At the helm of Mulberry’s creative force, it is clear that Coca places utmost importance on the coming together of past and present, “a balance of familiarity, poetic but strong”. Ahead of the show, Mulberry builds anticipation through the release of this short film, introducing Johnny Coca, as well as his inspirations and vision for the new collection:
The Mulberry AW16 collection will be shown at London Fashion Week on February 21, 4pm (February 22, 12am Malaysian time)
