Longchamp teams up with Chinese fashion blogger Mr. Bags for the Year of the Dog

With three million followers on Weibo, Mr. Bags is no doubt one of China’s most influential fashion bloggers, so much so that he has helped brands sell out their collections in minutes. Following his collaborations with Tod’s, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, this round, he has teamed up with French brand Longchamp for the upcoming Chinese New Year. Being offered the “creative carte blanche” by the brand’s Artistic Director Sophie Delafontaine, Mr. Bags gave Longchamp’s popular Le Pliage Cuir lines his own reinterpretation for the Year of the Dog.

The foldable bag is given a revamp with luxurious lamb leather that gives more structure, but the highlight of the new look is definitely the paw prints that exude a playful flair. Available in two sizes, the medium tote is available in fuss-free black, and girly pastel pink and powder blue hues. The former—with paw prints outlined in white, while the pastel shades feature the motifs in white fur. Aside from that, Mr. Bags has also introduced a mini clutch that can be cinched at the bag handle as a bag charm, or as a pouch to store your knick-knacks.
