Alexander Wang opted to go down the non-traditional retail route with his first Adidas Originals collaboration by selling them at parked trailer truck stores, and this season, it's no different. Drop one will be launched in New York City on the 29th of July, but instead of the offline shopping method, purchases are expected to be made through text messages, and the pieces will be delivered right to their doorstep by bike messengers. The brand announced on Instagram yesterday with pictures of "wild postings" around New York City stating the number to text: 917-512-7715, and it has already sent the internet into a frenzy. To the rest of the world, fret not; the collection will be released worldwide on the 5th of August.



Inspired by an interesting blend of rave culture and cycling, expect neon hues in apparel and footwear that symbolizes youth and freedom. Although official product images have yet to be released, watch the teaser below for a sneak peek:
