Stella McCartney debuted her first menswear collection this Autumn/Winter 2017 last week, rolling out tailored jackets and suits that paid homage to the Seventies while staying true to her eco-conscious signature. Similar to her womenswear collections, the men's range is created from sustainable fabrics and materials, from recycled polyester and nylon to sustainable viscose. In conjunction with the release, the British designer sought the expertise of director Sean Ellis for a short film to highlight key pieces from the collection. Irish actor Cillian Murphy (best known for his roles in The Dark Knight trilogy and Red Eye) is the star of the short, looking dazed as he traipses across the woods and stumbles upon a mysterious cabin. The dark, brooding undertones of the film is complemented with an equally eerie soundtrack, created by none other than the designer's father, Paul McCartney.
