This Bluetooth speaker is shaped like a storm cloud, and it floats

This whimsical tech wonder is the first prototype of a collaboration between Richard Clarkson Studio and Crealev—the former is an experimental product, lighting and furniture studio, while the latter patented an innovative magnetic levitation technology.

In this levitating cloud project named Making Weather, the form and function of the Cloud product by Richard Clarkson Studio has been adopted to create a floating cloud with an inbuilt Bluetooth speaker and sound reactive LED lights. The cloud floats one to two inches above a reflective oval base, and is armed with full rotational and a slight bobbing movement—making it look dreamily real. As mentioned, it is a prototype of the ongoing project, but here is to hoping it will be making way into our homes soon.
