How art can be captured with an iPhone

There is nothing uncool about light-drawings. It takes a certain amount of skill and some precision to create these trippy drawings, captured with long exposure photography. Light-drawings aren’t new at all, but it’s always really awesome to see it done in the right way. And that’s what artist Darren Pearson has accomplished, as seen in his light-painting series captured with iPhones and his very own “night-writers.”

Be it skeleton figures, animals or dinosaurs, Pearson’s work is undoubtedly fun, lighthearted and hypnotic. This series of photos he created with Apple make us want to go out tonight and try to make some of these:
