Golden Globes 2026: Best Watch and Jewellery Moments
Go for gold
Next stop on the awards-season circuit: the Golden Globes. Held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles, the ceremony solidified One Battle After Another’s frontrunner status, while simultaneously throwing a massive curveball with Sinners’ near shutout. But more than a platform to celebrate the world of cinema, the event also shone a spotlight on the artistry of jewellery and watchmaking. The exceptional pieces embellishing the A-listers in attendance are at once a testament to the rewarding results of expert craftsmanship and a reflection of the prestigious films and television shows in contention.
The Pavocelle necklace on Elle Fanning makes an excellent case in point. Fashioned in platinum, this high jewellery creation by Cartier boasts dazzling diamonds, expertly assembled to emulate a peacock’s ocellus. Providing a rugged contrast to the piece on the red carpet was Lisa Manobal’s Vimini choker. Marking the debut of the Bvlgari Eternal collection, the wicker-inspired necklace brings into play 18K yellow gold and DLC-coated steel, as well as pavé-set diamonds.
Rose Byrne delivered another standout look of the evening. Showing up in a winning ensemble, the actress stunned with Chanel’s Tweed Frangé earrings, Tweed Brodé ring, and Motif Russe bracelet—all crafted in 18K white gold with diamonds. This vision of refined elegance was similarly adopted by Hollywood newcomer Chase Infiniti, who wore the Arpeggia Five Line earrings, the Winter Diamond bracelet, and the Spring Toi et Moi ring by De Beers.
The timepieces at the Golden Globes sparkled as brilliantly as the trinkets. Jennifer Lawrence, for starters, opted for a diamond-studded Longines watch from 1916. Another jewellery watch that stole the show was the Alpine Eagle 41 XP Frozen Summit that wrapped snugly around Dwayne Johnson’s wrist. Crafted in 18K white gold with baguette-cut diamonds, this Chopard original marries the precise engineering of a Swiss-made watch with precious aesthetics.
Elsewhere, the classics remained a faithful companion to many. Wagner Moura was one of the nominees who leaned into understated sophistication. Showing off his signature style, the Brazilian actor sported the 40mm Omega De Ville Trésor in stainless steel with a diamond-paved bezel. Dylan Efron, on the other hand, displayed his impeccable taste in timepieces with a unique moonphase watch, the Tag Heuer Carrera Astronomer 39mm.
