Can you think of what else you might need to complete the look? We sure can. Meet IWC Schaffhausen’s answer to summer dressing—the seasonal edition of the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph.
Sporting classic nautical hues with a blue dial and white counters, the timepiece is casual yet heavy-duty thanks to its water-resistant 43.5mm stainless steel case with an integrated crown guard and a durable blue rubber strap. The transparent case-back shows off the mechanical movement—the 89361 manufacture calibre with flyback chronograph function and a 68-hour power reserve.
If fabric straps are more up your alley, you’ll be pleased to know that IWC has also launched a special collection of fabric straps for summer, which can be interchanged with the default rubber strap. Besides the Potugieser Yacht Club Chronograph, the new straps are also available for some of the other classic models, namely the Pilot’s Watches, select Portofino timepieces and the Portugieser Chronograph.
