Just in time for the festive season, Cartier has reopened the doors to its flagship store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to the public. The interiors of the renovated duplex are deliberately infused with local culture, as seen by the golden-finished Hibiscus flowers and leaves that Royal Selangor commissioned, as well as the sculptured panels that mirror the style of traditional Terengganu and Kelantan homes.

“Royal Selangor and Cartier share a strong commitment to precision, quality, and a rich heritage we proudly celebrate. Balancing tradition and innovation, our designs are timeless and focus on enduring beauty and value, which transcends generations,” says Chen Tien Yue, Executive Director of Royal Selangor Marketing. Alongside the reopening, Cartier is launching Magical Encounters, a series of immersive activations that invites shoppers to experience the enchanting world of the French luxury brand. The Magical Encounters is open to the public until January 7, 2024.

Following their summertime collaboration, Piaget and Japanese illustrator Yukiko Noritake have teamed up once more to create a magical holiday campaign that makes Piaget’s captivating talismans come to life. A fusion of the classic and the modern, the partnership brings the audiences from the Maison’s birthplace, La Côte-Aux-Fées, to the glamorous evenings of Paris and New York. In this alternate universe, the Polo Skeleton watches transform into parachutes, the Possession bracelets become Christmas tree decorations, and the Rose ring evolves into a massive structure on the snow-covered valleys.

Ahead of the holidays, Tiffany & Co. unveiled its next collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, along with one of the world’s most popular entertainment franchises, Pokémon. The latest line was inspired by Arsham’s ‘A Ripple In Time’ exhibition in Japan and was crafted in his ‘Future Relics’ aesthetic, where he reimagines everyday things as archaeological finds. Nine jewellery designs are available, ranging from pendants to necklaces featuring six iconic Pokémon—Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone, and Mew. Each one highlights the House’s long-standing ties to pop culture and modern art while illustrating exceptional creativity and designs.

The Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon capsule collection is now available at the Tiffany & Co. Landmark in New York City, the Omotesando store in Tokyo, and online in North America and Japan.

This season, Van Cleef & Arpels redefined its Perlee collection together with Arthur Hoffner. The timeless collection arrives with golden beads that elevate the exquisite calligraphy and the House’s signature Perlée clovers. For instance, the Perlée diamonds and Perlée couleurs rings combine the sparkle of precious stones—diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds—in asymmetric designs. There are also the Perlée watches, such as the Perlée secret pendant watches and the Perlée Toi & Moi secret watches, that round out the assortment. Each timepiece boasts a guilloche dial held in place gently by a central attachment and a rotating motif adorned with exquisite ornamental stones.

Audemars Piguet recently joined forces with Cactus Jack, a brand founded by American hip-hop artist Travis Scott, to release the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked. The limited-edition timepiece is made of brown ceramic and sports a sapphire dial with a moon phase display at six o’clock. Upon closer inspection, the natural satellite on the sub-dial has been substituted with the famous, tooth-sewn-closed smiley face of Cactus Jack. What’s more, the typography of the calendar and week indications are designed according to Scott’s hand-drawn model. Powered by the Calibre 5135, the ‘Chocolate AP’ has a 40-hour power reserve and comes with a textured calfskin leather strap with a pink gold folding clasp that is etched with ‘Audemars Piguet’ and ‘Travis Scott’ signatures.
