It’s that time of year again. The scent of cinnamon fills the air, the string lights illuminate the streets, and the fir trees tower over the town square. The hues of the holiday season are all around us. These glorious colours even weave themselves onto Natalie Prabha. Decked in GOLDHEART’s Fancy Sapphire collection, where each precious jewel glows with sapphires in stunning shades, she radiates with festive spirit.
Exuding energy and elegance in equal measure is second nature to the 31-year-old. Every flick of the wrist is deliberate, hinting at a story waiting to be told, not unlike the jewellery she adorns. The delicate bracelet, for instance, channels her unapologetic femininity. The rose gold rings on her fingers further the visual metaphor. While some twist into blooming flowers, others tie in dainty bows or dazzling diamonds.
A year has passed since we last talked to the model—when she claimed her deserved Trendsetter of the Year trophy at the BURO Impact Awards. So as the city begins to echo the rhythm of renewal, we caught up with the model to see what she is cooking up at the moment. From her modelling milestones and flavourful forays into the F&B scene to the special recipe she’s put together for our video, Natalie fills us in on her journey.

How’s life treating you these days?
Life’s been great! I had the chance to walk for Alia Bastamam, and I felt so powerful walking in those stunning red dresses. I also explored new passions this year, primarily in the realm of food.
Can you tell us more about that?
It’s called Corner Shop. It is a little mobile cafe. It all started when a coffee boy met a matcha girl. Before long, they started building a business together.

Do you see yourself pursuing it full-time in the near future?
Definitely! I’ve wanted to be a pastry chef ever since I was in high school. I guess I haven’t let that dream go just yet.
What is your fondest Christmas memory?
The best part of Christmas for me is sitting down for a family brunch with all the delicious leftovers from the night before. It has become a tradition for us.

Aside from draping yourself in GOLDHEART jewellery, how do you indulge yourself during the holidays?
I’m a pescatarian now, so I can’t wait to have my mom’s baked fish with some butter and lemon! It’s simple, but so good!
Can you share more about the recipe you came up with for our video?
The inspiration for this recipe is my love for chocolate mousse and skincare! I made an avocado chocolate mousse, macerated cherries, extra virgin olive oil, and sea salt.

How does it fit into your healthy lifestyle?
Avocado and extra virgin olive oil are packed with Vitamin E, whereas cherries and chocolate are packed with antioxidants to help the skin glow.
How would you describe your style?
I like jewellery pieces that are minimal and fun! That is why I could totally see the GOLDHEART jewellery I’m wearing today being part of my everyday looks.

Do you have a favourite?
The Infinity Halo necklace! Its infinity loop design, which to me symbolises an unceasing bond of love, resonates with me deeply. I love the juxtaposition between the colourful sapphires and the diamonds on the inner circle, too.
What’s next for you?
I hope to cook for more private dining sessions!
