The jewellery scene in Malaysia is ascending to new heights, with the official opening of Damiani at Seibu in The Exchange TRX last month. Located on the ground floor, the Italian haute joaillerie has partnered with Suen Jewellers to introduce its latest boutique, a true reflection of its distinctive identity.
For the grand launch, Damiani has flown in a curated selection of its exceptional centennial pieces. The exclusive showcase features the iconic Mimosa collection, known for its vibrant rubellites and spinels, and the Belle Époque collection, which captures the elegance of a bygone era with its intricate designs and sumptuous diamonds. These masterpieces beautifully celebrate Damiani’s storied legacy.
Additionally, the Margherita collection dazzles with its array of fancy diamonds and elaborate floral motifs, while the Fantasy Cut collection exemplifies the brand’s inventive spirit through unconventional cuts and bold colour combinations.
Along with that, the momentous occasion was attended by a distinguished guest list, including Mr. Mauro Malta, Regional Director of Asia Pacific and Japan at Damiani Group; Mr. Yutani Nobuhara, Managing Director of Seibu KL; Ms. Lee Sze Suen, founder of Suen Jewellers; and Mr. Chan Wey Yie, Executive Director of Suen. Joining the lineup were local celebrities such as Joe Flizzow and Kilafairy.
Malta remarked on the opening of Damiani’s first boutique in Malaysia: “This expansion into Kuala Lumpur is not just a new chapter for Damiani but a thrilling milestone that marks our commitment to spreading Italian excellence across the globe. We are excited to share our century-long legacy with the Malaysian market, igniting a new appreciation for the artistry and elegance that define Damiani.”
