Discover your good
Discover Your Good at Sentosa as the island transforms into a spellbinding experience this holiday season. Running until 4 January 2026, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is displaying a mesmerising Wicked: For Good activation on Sentosa Island, bathed in shimmering hues of pink and green.
From larger-than-life installations and exciting retail and food options to immersive experiences, RWS transforms into the World of Oz, bringing the beloved musical to life. Witness iconic landmarks such as the Yellow Brick Road and Emerald City up close in dazzling detail.
But it’s not just fans of the movie who have plenty to look forward to, as visitors of all ages will also be able to enjoy tons of spectacular activities and retail offerings across RWS’ signature attractions, such as Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium, and more.
We flew down to the little red dot to discover our good at RWS and experience the world-class entertainment, enticing food options, and more for ourselves. If you’re looking for a magical place to spend your Christmas and New Year’s, here are five things you can do at the premier island resort for a truly special time.
1. Begin Your Journey to Emerald City at Sentosa

Step into the enchanting world of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good through a series of immersive activations across Sentosa and RWS. The adventure begins at Sentosa Sensoryscape, where the multi-sensorial space is transformed into the iconic Yellow Brick Road.
As you continue through Sensoryscape, the main walkway transforms with installations that offer character photo moments that bring the story to life. By night, the floor path comes alive with illuminated lights, guiding visitors onwards towards the Emerald City.

Walk along the path, and you’ll come across some of the film’s most recognisable motifs. In the heart of Sensoryscape’s Glow Garden floats Glinda’s Bubble. Here, guests can commemorate the moment with photo-taking opportunities around and even inside the bubble, set against the enchanting landscape of Munchkinland.

Further along, guests will discover the Emerald City Express at Tactile Trellies, a steampunk-inspired installation. Close by is one of our personal favourites: Elphaba’s Hat. Towering at nine metres, this defining and powerful symbol of Elphaba’s individuality and rebellion sits in the middle of Lookout Loop and commands your attention with its scale and presence.

The journey culminates at the Lake of Dreams in RWS, as the larger-than-life Emerald City installation comes into view. Celebrate the adventure by watching the Limitless Lights: An Ozmopolitan Display of Music & Lights show. Enhanced by spectacular lighting and music from the movie, the installation transforms into a dazzling nighttime illumination that brings the world of Oz vividly to life.

To complete the journey and experience through Oz, you can also savour a specially curated selection of Wicked-themed food and beverage offerings across RWS speciality restaurants and hotels. Think decadent desserts and savoury indulgences, all crafted in distinct hues of pink and green, that bring delight to both the palate and imagination.

2. Explore the wonders of the underwater world at Singapore Oceanarium

If you think you know what an aquarium experience is like, think again. Our visit to Singapore Oceanarium ended up being one of our biggest highlights at RWS! Spanning 22 immersive zones and home to thousands of fascinating marine animals, Singapore Oceanarium is a bold reimagination of what an aquarium can be by combining cutting-edge storytelling and marine science to create an unforgettable deep-sea experience.

From now until 4 January 2026, Singapore Oceanarium is celebrating the iconic Hangyodon from the world of Sanrio and 40 years of mischief. Dive into Southeast Asia’s one-and-only Hangyodon-themed experience with adorable life-sized installations of the beloved character, exclusive dining options, and a chance to meet him in person as your guide!

Another highlight was the Ocean Wonders exhibit as our visit also coincided with World Jellyfish Day. Here, you can meet some of the ocean’s oldest residents. Take a picture at the 6.8-metre-wide Kreisel tank as thousands of glow-in-the-dark Moon Jellies drift gracefully in mesmerising patterns, or take in the cylindrical tanks that offer 360-degree views of species such as Fried Egg Sea Jellies and Pacific Sea Nettles.

But don’t forget the Oceanarium’s most awe-inspiring highlights, the expansive Open Ocean viewing panel. This stunning area offers a breathtaking glimpse into the vastness of the sea. Towering and wide, catch Indo-Pacific Leopard Sharks, Reef Mantay Rays, Bowmouth Guitarfish, and more that glide through the endless blue.
3. Indulge in Resorts World Sentosa’s Signature Restaurants
All that walking and exploring will work up your appetite. Fortunately, RWS offers a bountiful selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars to suit any palate. From smoky grills to flavourful Southeast Asian cuisine, there’s something for everyone. Here were some of our favourite eats during our trip.

At KA-MON, this casual dining restaurant is inspired by Japan’s iconic grilling techniques such as genshiyaki, robatayaki, and warayaki. With an open kitchen overlooking a charcoal grill, each dish is a mouthwatering creation of bold and smoky flavours.

If you want to explore something more out of the box, Chifa’s Peruvian-Chinese fare will hit the spot. Amaze your palate at Singapore’s first Chifa restaurant, where the spirited flavours of Peru meet the versatility of Chinese cuisine.

For those looking for familiar flavours that still excite, Soi Social is a great spot for delectable Thai cuisine. Inspired by renowned Chef Ian Kittichai’s interpretation of Thailand’s food scene, every dish encapsulates the essence of Thai fare while offering something new and fresh.

As a nightcap to end your day in high spirits, consider checking out Horatio, a sleek speakeasy of cocktails and fine spirits. Here, drinks are carefully crafted and imbued with stories. Some of our favourites include Falling Petals, Kueh-Kueh Spirits, and Maestros Daughter.
