Bali hasn’t seen a hot air balloon in recent years but that’s changing now as The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah Ubud has added ballooning rides to their portfolio of adventures. It’s currently the first and only opportunity in Bali, which is available till November.
Each flight will take the 23-metre hot air balloon for a five- to seven-minute ride, climbing 50 metres above the rice fields and allowing a maximum of two adults, two children under 12, and a certified pilot. Depending on the time of the day, it could include breakfast, afternoon tea for two, or dinner for two adults, with prices ranging from US$150 to US$200 per couple.
The adventure is open to both in-house and outside guests but be sure to make a very advance reservation. For more info, visit the website.
