Aptly released on 11 January, the OPPO Reno11 series consists of the Reno11 Pro and Reno11. Its design embodies the best of style, nature, colour, and texture as the contrasting layers and slender body come together to make a sleek silhouette. The finishes of the phone also add an extra element of shine and sparkle to it. Here’s a closer look at how OPPO’s latest Reno phone was constructed with design and feel at the forefront.

 

INFLUENCED BY NATURE

Taking notes from nature, the Reno11 Series reflects the essence of organic elements in the phone’s textures and visual components. Iridescent and precious, the pearl was the muse of the Reno11 Pro’s design thanks to its perfect shape and poise. OPPO’s designers were particularly drawn to the smooth and sleek surface alongside the seemingly endless depth of the pearl. 

On the other hand, the Reno11’s design is a nod to green sea waves, perennially ebbing and flowing. The dynamic shapes of waves and their shimmery nature offer visual inspiration for the phone’s silhouette and signature colourway, a tasteful hue somewhere in between azure, green, and turquoise.

 

NO GLOW LIKE THE OPPO GLOW

Inspiration translates into design with the brand’s pioneer usage of the OPPO Glow technique, made for the Reno series and available on both the Reno11 Pro and Reno11 models. Developed to seamlessly incorporate nature elements into a perfect in-hand smartphone design language, the OPPO Glow fuses a fine lustre with a classy smartphone in-hand experience and delivers the perfect blend of aesthetics and comfort. 

 

TASTEFUL TEXTURES

The Reno11 Pro—in all its pearlescent glory—has three distinct layers in its design, each shining through at different angles. The topmost layer has a textured finish, achieved with no less than 3.6 million tiny microscopic surfaces that reflect beautifully to create the phone’s glimmering look. Coupled with its almost iridescent pearl sheen, the visual appearance of the phone is sure to catch eyes and turn heads. 

On the other hand, the Reno11 in its signature Wave Green colourway makes use of OPPO’s Shimmering Silk Design technique. Created just for this phone, the process utilises a new method of pattern transfer from natural fabric, integrating both silk and reflective metal elements on top of a laser-etching process to create its fluid-like look along the phone’s curved back. Together, the Reno11 Pro and Reno11 are a duo of quality and consistency, glistening with the same nature-inspired glows and refined in-hand experience. 

 

LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD

Surface-wise, the Reno11 has a smooth finish with its polished, glass-like panel. When put together with its light Wave Green colour and visual detailing, the phone can stay smudge-free to the eyes, maintaining its clean and sleek appearance. Meanwhile, the Reno11 Pro has a frosted glass finish that brings yet another dimension to its overall look. 

Both phones feature Sunshine Ring camera designs that are subtle and tasteful to go with the phones’ Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera systems. The lenses on the Reno11 Pro and Reno11 are further outlined with two circles set in a metallic belt, drawing attention and light to them.

With all the aforementioned features, the OPPO Reno11 series is a testament to the thought and time put into creating the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro. OPPO’s design team took a leaf out of nature’s book to blend creativity, style, and colour into these two phones, created just for its users.
