BURO Gadget Guide: 4 Cool new gadgets on our radar in April 2022

Aside from smartphones and computers, technology has allowed urbanites to keep up with the fast-paced, connected world with a myriad of other smart devices. Be it to help you maintain proper home hygiene or improve productivity for work and play, tech brands and manufacturers are constantly innovating to offer consumers solutions to modern-day concerns. In this month’s edition of the BURO Gadget Guide, we highlight the latest gadgets to add to your home, gym bag, or wrist for your lifestyle needs.

Samsung Bespoke Jet Cordless Vacuum

After earning recognition at the CES Innovation Awards 2021, the Samsung Bespoke Jet Cordless Vacuum has finally arrived in Malaysia. If you’re looking for a new home hygiene solution, this cordless stick vacuum features an all-in-one Clean Station™ that literally does the work for you. The dock helps to automatically empty the dust bin after cleaning so you don’t have to, whilst intuitively charging the vacuum the moment you dock it.

It’s also 47 per cent lighter than its predecessor at 1.44kg, but even more powerful, thanks to the improved Digital Inverter Motor that rotates at 135,000rpm to deliver a suction power up to 210W. The advanced Multi Filtration System ensures that only clean air is released as it traps 99.999 per cent of fine dust, whereas the anti-bacterial dust bag inhibits bacterial growth. Both the dust bin and multi-cyclone are also fully washable to allow thorough cleaning after use. What’s more, it comes with upgraded brush attachments for different surfaces and cleaning functions, which can easily be attached and removed for a convenient cleaning experience.

Jabra Elite 4 Active

Jabra has recently unveiled its latest addition to its Elite series, the Jabra Elite 4 Active, made for those who lead active lifestyles. It features an ergonomic, secure fit that’s designed to stay in place while you exercise, plus IP57-rated water and sweat-proof durability that supports heavy usage—whether you prefer yoga, running, boxing, or HIIT. The earbuds come with seven hours of battery life, and up to 28 hours with the charging case.

With Jabra’s signature Active Noise Cancellation technology, users can stay in the zone and listen to their favourite tracks while working out. As for those who want to stay safe and alert of their surroundings, such as during an outdoor run, the HearThrough function picks up noise around you and plays them in your buds. In addition, the buds come with four in-built microphones that are protected by a special mesh for added wind noise protection to ensure call clarity, even when you’re on the go. The earbuds are available in three colours: Navy, Black and Mint.
