YUN HOUSE SETS PLAYFUL TONE WITH ITS NEW MENU
This Michelin-selected restaurant has once again proven that Cantonese fine dining knows no bounds. Diners can now experience Cantonese cuisine with a playful, modern twist at Yun House. Framed by stunning city views, this dining venue has recently unveiled a fresh menu brimming with bold flavours and visually captivating plating—creating an experience that elevates traditional Cantonese recipes with inventive Hong Kong twists. Expertly crafted by Chef Jimmy Wong and his team, the new menu sets the tone with intricate dishes that offer fresh, yet familiar flavours, all presented with chic, contemporary plating. Chef Jimmy describes the menu as “a celebration of modern Cantonese cuisine, designed for sharing and enjoyment among family and friends.”
Highlights of the new menu include signature creations such as the deep-fried crab shell stuffed with crab imperial, a dish rarely found in Kuala Lumpur, inspired by Michelin-recognised venues in Hong Kong. Other standout dishes include the crispy prawn toast with salted egg yolk aioli and caviar, the deep-fried sweet potato balls filled with roasted macadamia nut paste, and the crispy rice vermicelli with foie gras and oyster, a luxurious fusion of Asian and Western ingredients. For a refined flavour journey, the fish maw dumplings, topped with vibrant cordyceps flowers, combine unique textures and tastes, while the deep-fried yam puffs surprise with their blend of crispy taro and tender barbecued duck—our favourite of the day.

Awaken your senses at The Spa at Four Seasons
Now that our tummies are filled, it’s time to indulge in the ultimate relaxation experience—the spa. The Spa at Four Seasons is renowned worldwide for its luxurious treatments, where every detail is carefully attended to from the moment you step inside. Our experience was every bit as luxurious as advertised, with each detail meticulously curated from the warm welcome at reception to the elegance of the tastefully decorated treatment room. The Spa recently introduced a refreshed spa menu, featuring a selection of treatments using Spa Senses products from Skeyndor, the acclaimed Spanish skincare brand.
Choose from their five signature massage treatments, each with its benefits and properties. Balancing Ancient Abhyanga draws on over 3,000 years of Indian Ayurvedic tradition, treating the skin like a full-body facial using aromatic Indian spice oils to target energy points and realign the body’s three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Energising Yoga Flow combines traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic practices in a dynamic Thai massage, or assisted yoga, using energetic movements and varied pressure to enhance energy flow, while bamboo and lotus cream create a soothing sense of natural well-being. Dreamtime Relaxation combines lymphatic drainage, Shiatsu, and pressure point stimulation to reduce stress, boost energy flow, and nourish the skin with shea butter and vitamin E for deep relaxation and detoxification. Releasing De-Tense Therapy blends Eastern and Western techniques, including Swedish and Turkish massage, while warm orange-scented oil nourishes the skin for deep relaxation and rejuvenation in a luxurious setting. The treatment we experienced was the Relaxing Arabian Oasis, which combines Swedish deep-tissue, Hawaiian lomi-lomi, and Thai stretching techniques with malachite balm to provide deep relaxation and muscle relief in a single transformative experience.
The Relaxing Arabian Oasis is definitely not the type of treatment where you can rest your eyes. With continuous movement and gestures that keep your body energised, each stroke leaves your muscles rejuvenated—neither too intense nor too gentle to lull you to sleep. As described, the massage incorporates stretching techniques, and amusingly, that’s when we discovered just how flexible our limbs are as the therapist stretches and pulls in various directions to relieve tense muscles. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, made even better by the incredibly attentive staff. We felt rejuvenated right away. It’s a spa session we’d highly recommend to anyone in need of a relaxing retreat.
