It’s time to step right into October’s very first weekend! While the F1 Singapore GP 2025 will be on our minds and screens, there’s still much to do on our side of the causeway! For this edition of the BURO Weekend Guide, we tell you all about the Adidas x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 ‘Light Up the Bay’ pop-up at The Exchange TRX, Unwined’s biggest wine sale ever, and more. Plus, don’t forget to stock up on your mooncakes because Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 is just around the corner on 6 October 2025!

Calling all Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, and even Toto Wolff loyalists! If you can’t make it over to the Lion City this weekend for the F1 Singapore GP, then bring yourselves to The Exchange TRX for a taste of the high-octane action with the Adidas x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 ‘Light the Bay’ pop-up! There, you’ll be able to browse the apparel collection, try their hand at racing simulators, play a reaction time game, snap some photos, and more!

2. LIGHT UP YOUR WEEKEND WITH ‘MOONLIT GATHERING’ AT THE STARHILL

Where: The Starhill KL

Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations continue in the heart of the city with ‘Moonlit Gathering’ at The Starhill. The lineup features 40 local brands, who have all set up shop at the entrance foyer & piazza. On top of shopping, you can also enjoy musical performances and seasonal bites from the vendors.

3. TOUCH GRASS AT ‘PICNIC IN THE PARK’ WITH PINGMIN

When: 3 to 5 & 17 to 19 October 2025 | 5pm to 10pm (Fridays) | 12pm to 10pm (Saturdays and Sundays)

Where: Behind Waterfront, Desa Parkcity

Price: Free entry

If you need a breath of fresh air, head to Desa Parkcity for a dose of greenery with Pingmin’s ‘Picnic in the Park’. Set for the first and third weekend of the month, the event aims to bring you, your favourite people, and your furkids together for a day out. There will be food vendors, musical performances, and more. Don’t forget to bring along a picnic mat and all the portable fans you can get your hands on!

4. FEEL THE CAFFEINE BUZZ AT MALAYSIA COFFEE WEEK 2025 

When: From now until 5 October 2025 

Where: 1 Utama Shopping Centre

Malaysia Coffee Week 2025 has finally begun! The agenda is jam-packed with all things coffee, from tastings and games to competitions and bar takeovers. Some names you might recognise in the lineup include Ghostbird Coffee Roasters, Cloud Catcher, Hydroflask, and One Half Coffee Roastery. Explore each booth, mingle with fellow coffee lovers, learn a thing or two about roasting, and overload on caffeine!

A portion of the proceeds from sales will go towards Carefugees, a charity organisation currently raising funds to provide baby milk formula to families in Gaza. The lineup includes Sugar and I, Gelato a Lago, Rosas.KL, and more.

Coffee, flowers, crochet crafts, cookies, and more—these are what you can expect at Floristika’s ‘The Weekend’ pop-up market! Pop by for a slow morning or evening wind down, complete with freshly brewed coffee or some matcha. With your drink in hand, you can browse through the blooms, some crocheted creations, and more.
