With Raya on the horizon, the Klang Valley is truly coming alive with tons of pop-up markets—including ‘Riuh Raya Kita’ and ‘Naluri Hati Raya’—for you to visit on top of the other exciting events on the agenda. So, get your group chats, planners, and calendars out! Here are all the event worth checking out this 22 to 23 March 2025. 

 

1. FIND YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND AT ‘FETCH & FLEX’ BY MY PETS HAVEN

When: 22 & 23 March 2025 | 11am to 7pm

Where: The Square, Jaya One

This one’s for all the animal lovers out there! ‘Fetch & Flex’ is back for another year, organised by local pet shelter My Pets Haven, which BURO’s Voice of the Year 2024, Aunty Aileen, leads. The main event of the pop-up is a huge adoption drive, where you can go and meet your newest best friend to bring home. Those who have already got a furkid at home can bring them along to the market, where you’ll find a lineup of leading local pet brands selling premium pet food, treats, accessories, and more. Plus, there will be a team of vets on-site to provide free consultation and chiropractic services for your pets too!

2. GET IN YOUR LAST-MINUTE RAYA PREP AT ‘RIUH RAYA KITA’

Where: Raintree Plaza, The Exchange TRX

The highly anticipated Raya bazaar from Riuh has arrived! Happening at The Exchange TRX, ‘Riuh Raya Kita’ will be your one-stop city centre shop for all things Raya. There are more than 80 retail vendors in the lineup, across fashion, beauty, and more. Familiar names include Corak, The Batik Life, and Behati. On top of that, there will be F&B vendors on-site as well as live performances to keep the energy going. Those looking to get crafty can also take part in one of the six creative workshops on the agenda.

This duo of events will ensure you get in the Raya mood, complete with stunning outfits. At ‘Naluri Hati Raya’, you’ll meet over 20 local vendors showcasing their crafts and creations, O for Others, 9Teen, and Vintage Kakak. Meanwhile, ‘Jalin Kasih Raya’ vendors include Dododots, The Henna Lab, and Jas Atelier.

4. FIND YOUR RAYA LOOK AT CIRKLE’S ‘THE EID SEMESTER’ POP-UP

Bring your shopping A-game to The Campus Ampang this weekend for Cirkle’s ‘The Eid Semester’ pop-up, where you’ll find some of the biggest local brands in fashion and their Raya collections ready for you to find your perfect Raya outfit. Our favourite brands in the vendor lineup include Nazifi Nasri, Syomirizwa Gupta, Larney, Hanya, Gung, and Ana Abu. There will also be special Eid portraiture sessions with Aaron Lee and Aiman Yazid, so you can get in your official Raya photos in time for the first day! Those visiting on the night of Lailatul Qadr can also join in the Ramadan soul session with Ustaz Mizi Wahid and Ustazah Liyana Musfirah.

Looking to upgrade your Raya celebrations with your Apple devices? Book a slot at one of the two Today at Apple sessions happening this weekend! On Saturday, local photographer Nuar Yusli will be leading a workshop on capturing the best Raya photos with your iPhone, including tips on lighting, Portrait mode, and staging. Artist Finn Azuar will be leading Sunday’s session, in which you’ll learn how to create your own Raya postcards using an iPad and Apple Pencil. By the end of the session, you’ll have learned how to transform a family photo—or any photo of your choice—into a greeting card you can send to your loved ones. Note: You can bring your own devices or use the ones provided by the store.

In honour of International Women’s Month, Nobu Kuala Lumpur has curated a special omakase menu for you to indulge in alongside your leading ladies. The Sakuya Omakase takes inspiration from the Japanese Shinto Goddess of Cherry Blossoms, Sakura, who symbolises beauty, transformation, and resilience. Starting off the meal is the restaurant’s signature crispy rice with tuna and a selection of sushi, before moving into a salmon “new-style” sashimi and a tempura course. A decadent braised Wagyu short rib will serve as the main, while dessert will be a rich chocolate bento box.
