The first collaboration between Rimowa and Virgil Abloh’s Italian streetwear label Off-White was new, intriguing, and successful. Thus, it would only make sense to join forces one more time. Acting as an extension to the initial release, the second Off-White x Rimowa luggage collection is limited edition, includes an opaque version and is still transparent.
Launched at a luggage carousel-style exhibition aptly titled “See Through”, the new version of the transparent case — which is based on the Rimowa Essential — now features white wheels, handles and accents. Additionally, they are fitted with Rimowa’s silent Multiwheel system, TSA combination locks, a new custom Off-White luggage belt, and an exclusive transparent amenity kit containing an additional set of orange wheels.
There’s also a third Off-White x Rimowa case — the “Personal Belongings” aluminium case based on the Rimowa Original — which is the opaque version we mentioned earlier, and clearly a crowd favourite thus far.
The new limited edition Off-White x Rimowa luggage collection will be available at select Rimowa and Off-White stores, and online at rimowa.com, starting in the US on October 12th and in Europe, Japan and Asia on October 25th — with the exception of the “Personal Belongings” cases. The latter will be launched at a later date but exclusively online at rimowa.com in the US.
