Nespresso’s CitiZ coffee machine range gets a makeover inspired by KL

First launched in 2009, Nespresso’s redesigned CitiZ coffee extraction machines now features sleek surface finishing inspired by city landmarks. Kuala Lumpur is one of only five cities in the world to be so honoured, joining Beijing, New York, London, and Pisa. The KL machines come in either silver or black, and with a new island base for the Aeroccino milk frother on the CitiZ&Milk model.

This means it’ll take up less space on the kitchen countertop—or in the office pantry—which means more space for snacks. The simple interface of the CitiZ and CitiZ&Milk carries on in this update, with the option of two cup sizes programmable with automatic flow stop—Espresso and Lungo—a 25-second fast heat-up and automatic switch off after nine minutes of inactivity.

Both machines are available at premier retailers, Robinsons, Harvey Norman, Parkson and Best Denki, and online at nespresso.com at RM999 for the CitiZ and RM1299 for CitiZ&Milk. You can even taste Nespresso for free at these outlets, and after purchasing your morning fuel—sorry, coffee—machine, coffee capsules can be ordered online via web or mobile app.

Nespresso Grand Crus customers in particular automatically become members of the Nespresso Club and benefit from a range of personalised services, including Coffee Specialists on call to advise on coffee selection and convenient ordering and delivery. These Club Experts are available at 1800-80-7001 (toll-free) and will arrange pickup and delivery of machines in need of repair or servicing free of charge; as well as the loan of a machine to use in the mean time.
