Hugh Jackman to go on a live musical world tour this 2019

 

You’ve seen him act, dance and sing on several notable films before and now you can see all his talent live as he takes to the stage in his world tour ‘The Man. The Music. The Show.’ next summer. Hugh Jackman is going to bring you down memory lane and perform various hits from The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables and also other movies and Broadway shows accompanied by a live orchestra.

 

His action roles aside, there’s no doubting Jackman’s musical prowess. Earlier in his career, the star played Gaston in a stage production of Beauty and the Beast in his native Australia while his major breakthrough performance was Oklahoma! at London’s National Theatre. In 2004, the actor nabbed a Tony award for his performance in The Boy from Oz. He also appeared in Baz Luhrmann’s epic musical Australia alongside Nicole Kidman. His performance as Jean Valjean in the 2012 adaptation of Les Miserables also earned him Golden Globe, Oscar and Bafta nominations.

 

 

 

His most recent musical to date was in the highly successful The Greatest Showman, which grossed $435 million worldwide. The soundtrack saw songs such as ‘This is Me’ and ‘Rewrite the Stars’ getting regular airwaves play while the album topped the charts in several countries including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and Japan.

 

If your interest is piqued, 34 dates have been announced so far for Hugh Jackman’s ‘The Man. The Music. The Show.’ world tour kicking off in Hamburg, Germany next May and ending in Los Angeles, US.
