This coming march will witness a jazz galore at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, as the Singapore International Jazz Festival (Sing Jazz) will be back for its third successive year from 4 to 6 March. Three al-fresco evenings of electrifying live performances, the festival brings together international headliners from all walks of jazz.
Among the line-up there is Australian band Hiatus Kaiyote who has been laying out some delicious neo-soul tunes. Grammy Award winner Joss Stone will also close the show on the second night with her raspy vocals and upbeat tunes, while Taylor McFerrin will bring some of his smooth R&B influences to the stage. Also worth catching, get ready to dance along to the celebrated Buena Vista Social Club on their last ever tour.
Here’s the Sing Jazz 2016 line-up for the main stage:
Friday, 4 March: Darker than Wax Sound System; BADBADNOTGOOD (BBNG); Taylor McFerrin; and Hiatus Kaiyote
Saturday, 5 March: Charlie Lim; Incognito; Candy Dulfer; and Joss Stone
Sunday, 6 March: Jeremy Monteiro; Enrico Rava; Bueno Vista Social Club; and Seun Kuti & Egypt 80
