This month, Hutong continues to pay homage to Chinese traditions as they invite guests to honour the Mid-Autumn celebrations with a traditional 10-dish festival menu that features auspicious dishes to be enjoyed this season such as a large pork dumplings served with dried scallop and bird’s nest in coconut almond soup accompanied by glutinous rice dumplings.
From 26 — 28 September, diners can also watch as experienced calligrapher Master Sum inscribes seasonal greetings on Chinese lanterns as a souvenir for guests to take with them to join in the annual tradition of carrying lanterns onto the streets and parks.
