1. Catch a movie at Dadi Cinema in Pavilion KL or Da Men USJ

Calling all movie buffs, Dadi Cinema has officially made its debut in Malaysia at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Da Men USJ—the brand’s first two cinemas outside of China. The Pavilion KL outlet is the first in the country to boast a starry movie experience with its unique Star-Max Hall, complete with advanced laser projector technology to deliver crystal-clear cinema graphics and Dolby Atmos sound system for an immersive surround sound experience. There’s also the premium Star+ Hall, which comes with access to Dadi Cinema’s exclusive private lounge where customers can enjoy free flow concessions (on selected concessions) before their movie.

Meanwhile, the Da Men USJ outlet features a bustling street theme with street signages, vibrant building graffiti, and vehicles for photo-taking opportunities before and after a movie. Both cinemas also boast kid-friendly Lil Star halls that feature adorable customised kids seating and a mini play area. 2. Visit the Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival

When: 12 November to 19 December, Thursdays to Sundays, 11am to 9pm

Where: Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival

The Tiger Street Food Virtual Festival returns this year with an epic collision between streetwear and street food, boasting even more street food varieties and exciting features. Bringing two cultures together to break the boundaries of street food, Tiger has partnered with renowned local streetwear brands to curate two limited-edition streetwear apparels each from EK Collective, TNT Co, The Swagger Salon, Eversince, Pestle &Mortar, and Dissyco. These exclusive merchandises will be available for sale in limited quantities on a first come first served basis via the Hype Store within the virtual festival.

As for the food, festivalgoers can order from over 100 street food vendors serving both classic and innovative dishes. Plus, fans can accompany their favourite street food dishes with ice-cold Tiger Beer and Tiger Crystal delivered to their doorsteps. While festivalgoers from across the country are welcome to join the festival, deliveries (including streetwear, food and drinks) are only available for fans residing in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor Bahru and Ipoh. 3. Celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter movies with Cartoon Network and HBO GO

When: From November 13 to December 25

Potterheads, listen up! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Cartoon Network (Astro Ch 615) will be airing the first four of the 8-movie series every other weekend, beginning November 13 until December 25. The last four titles in the franchise will debut on the channel in early 2022. All movies are also available to stream on HBO GO.

What’s more, the brand-new Wizarding World competition event, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, will be streaming on Monday, November 29, exclusively on HBO GO.
