To usher in the holiday season, Kate Spade New York takes over Sunway Pyramid’s ice-skating rink in the House’s typical playful style and fashion. Also featuring an experiential pop-up Candy Bar, the booth’s interior is decked in the brand’s blend of whimsical patterns and black-and-white checkered floors. Check out the interactive pop-up and displays to experience the magic for yourself!

2. Sip House of Suntory’s newest line of Gin

If you’re a fan of the Japanese spirit, have a sip of Sui, House of Suntory’s latest concoction crafted with eight traditional botanicals—juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica seed, angelica root, cardamom, cinnamon, bitter orange peel and lemon peel—but with a Japanese flair with the addition of yuzu, ryokucha (green tea) and ginger. The result is a light and clear-tasting Gin that pairs well with everyday meals.

When: 1 to 23 December 2022

Where: The Back Room KL

Price: Free admission

In The Back Room KL’s latest exhibition, artist Liew Kwai Fei takes over the gallery with his piece titled ‘The Hanging Exercise’. Over a two-month period in 2021, Liew produced 117 drawings (yes, you read that right!) using only pencils on graph paper. Through the two deceptively simple elements of a pencil and a grid, Liew explores the constraints of gridded form and composes works of rebellion, community and pleasure. His 117 drawings have been compiled in a new book, Pencil Exercises, which will be available for purchase at the Godown Artist Market also happening over this weekend and purchased online on Cloud Projects.
