7 Things you can do in KL this weekend: 30 & 31 March 2019

1. Riuh Rhapsody at Sentul Depot, 11am – 9pm, 30 & 31 March 2019

It’s going to be a weekend of groovy vibes, girl power and green living. Find out the highlights of the upcoming edition of Riuh here.

2. APW Quarter Market at APW Bangsar, 10am – 8pm, 30 & 31 March 2019

March out of the first quarter of 2019 with this new market in town. As its name suggests, it will only pop up every quarter of the year and you can expect a throng of different food and drinks to try, fun contests to test your competitive streaks, and lots of shopping to be done. To complement the positive vibes going around, there’ll also be live performances to check out.

In addition, the market will feature the first-ever Lettuce Land in Malaysia. It’s basically a life-sized maze made entirely from lettuce (about 25,600 of them!). We’ve got our eye on the Eating Competition though. Happening on Sunday at 3pm to 4pm, test your spicy tolerance with a huge portion of Samyang 2x Spicy Noodles topped with a special spicy sauce.

3. 10th Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2019 at Precinct 2, Putrajaya, 28 – 31 March 2019

The annual hot air balloon festival is back and as usual, it’s going to be an exciting affair. From a variety of unique hot air balloons in the skies to actually riding in one to a huge lineup of food trucks, you’ll easily spend a day there. Considering the heat nowadays, however, we recommend going in the evening so that you’ll be able to catch the Night Glow event (8.30pm – 9.30pm on weekends only) featuring fireworks, a guest artist, music and balloons.

Admission is free. For more info, visit the website or Facebook.

4. Marvel Quiz/Trivia Night at The Enclave @ Bangsar, 6pm – 8pm, 30 March

We’re a month away from Avengers: Endgame and if you’re a true fan of the MCU, you might want to put that knowledge to good use. Be warned though; we’re expecting some real competitions but hey, whatever it takes, right?

For more info or to book a spot, check out the event page.
