GRUB by Ah Hong & Friends
Previously a struggling chap fan store, restaurant owner Ah Hong gave a full revamp to his failing business, turning it into a modest (not fancy) steakhouse and now doing exceptionally well, better than ever. Over at GRUB, foodies can look forward to having a sinful, hearty feast and satiate gobsmackingly delicious meat servings of well-seasoned, juicy steaks including wagyu, New York striploin, T-bone steak, tomahawks, and more.
If you don’t want any beef, that’s fine too—their grilled lamb, seafood bouillabaisse, and grilled chicken chop also received favourable reviews. Not only that, this eatery is commended for its affordable prices for the variety of steaks, which is the reason why the restaurant functions on a self-service basis, able to keep their food prices down. Although usually packed with large crowds, the ambiance of the restaurant still manages to ooze cosy vibes amongst the busy setting—definitely a trendy spot to chill with your loved ones or old friends for a memorable night.
Don’t forget to read GRUB’s cheeky menu introduction for a good laugh before dinner.
P/S: It is advised that you make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.
