1. Arts & Lights Vol. 2 – Rainbow Riot at M Centura, Sentul, 6 – 28 Jan

Missed the first edition at Icon City PJ last month? That’s okay because Mah Sing Group plans to make a series out of their Arts & Lights exhibition. Vol. 2 features new installations with a very big splash of colours for the theme this round. 

Admission is free but you’ll have to register here first.

 

2. Rise and Run 2.0 by lululemon KL at Bangsar Sports Complex, 6.45am – 9.45am, 6 Jan

On a global scale, lululemon has started a 40|80 Challenge. Locally, in conjunction with that challenge, they’re inviting you to join them for a 10km run with their ambassador Karen Siah.

3. Komune-ity Yoga with MissMafia at Komune Coworking, 11am – 12pm, 6 Jan

Don’t feel like pushing yourself too much? Yoga’s a great way to reset your mind, body and soul for the new year.

4. Edible Gardening in The City at The Bungalow 35, 9am – 12pm, 6 Jan

New year, new you—and maybe the new you is interested in growing your own vegetables and herbs. It’s doable even if you live in a condominium. The Hive has teamed up with Ground Control and The Bungalow 35 to teach you all the basics in this hands-on workshop.

5. Japanese tea and wagashi session at Tea Press, The Japanese Tea Roasters, 10.30am – 1.30pm, 7 Jan

Learn about Japanese tea culture and watch a wagashi (traditional Japanese confectionery) demonstration by Nagai Yoshiki of Tea Press. You’ll be able to indulge in the treats at the end of the session.

From 11 to 14 January, embark on a unique Italian epicurean journey with 1-Michelin-starred Chef Mario Cittadini at the wheel. Expect tantalising gourmet dishes such as tortelli with parmesan emulsion and black truffle caviar, and a special 25-layered lasagna with Neapolitan ragout and scamorza cheese fondue. Choose from the 3-, 4- or 5-course menu for lunch while dinner offers either a 5- or 7-course menu.
