7 Things you can do this weekend: 18 & 19 August 2018

1. Endangered Edition Collection Launch at Pestle & Mortar Clothing @ Bangsar, 7pm – 9.30pm, 16 August

There are an estimated 250 Malayan tigers left in the wild today. That’s a pretty low number and thus, Tiger Beer, WWF Malaysia, and Pestle Mortar Clothing have teamed up with four local artists — Sean Lean, Kenji Chai, Julian Oh, and Hugh Koh — to create a limited edition capsule collection to spread awareness as well as to support the cause. Only 260 pieces have been produced and 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go to WWF Malaysia in support of tiger conservation efforts. Fun fact: The collection uses Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) compliant organic cotton.

2. MBL 6th Anniversary Charity Burger at all myBurgerLabs, 5pm – 10pm, 15 – 22 August

Can you believe it’s been six years since myBurgerLab came onto the scene and started a burger craze? To celebrate, they’ve teamed up with Nando’s to create the mBL Peri-Peri Burger (RM20). What’s better than its clucking good taste is that all proceeds from each of this burger (RM10) will go to the Dignity for Children Foundation.
