#CheatDayEats: Cheesy desserts

This week, we’re continuing #CheatDayEats with a dessert category but with a pinch of savoury. One word: cheese. It’s super indulgent in foods such as pizzas or as a dip with fries; so what more when used as an ingredient for desserts! You can also check out last week’s #CheatDaysEats covering cotton candy desserts here.

For the traditional cheesecake lovers, meet a more decadent version with a tangy twist. It’s hard to resist such a beautiful plating and the best part is that it looks as good as it tastes. If you love your cheesecakes with a creamy texture that just melts in your mouth, this is it.

The Shibuya Honey Toast caused quite a stir when it was first introduced to the Malaysian foodies and since there, new variations of the sweet treat have been born. One in particular is Miru Dessert Cafe’s Cheddar Cheese Toast: an utterly sinful toast drizzled with cheddar cheese sauce and topped generously with more shredded cheddar cheese and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Don’t you just hate it when there isn’t enough maple syrup or honey to go with your pancakes? The ones at The Forum KL, however, would satisfy your palate with its three slices of fluffy pancakes sitting atop luscious cream cheese and chocolate ice cream on top. Visually pleasing, a satisfying serving size and a smooth burst of flavours—what’s not to love about it?
