1. A specially curated Omakase set followed by a spectacular view of the fireworks at Nobu Kuala Lumpur

Usher in the New Year with an epicurean Omakase spread by Nobu’s Executive Chef Phillip Leong with a specially crafted menu featuring a Japanese-Peruvian concept. Clink glasses to a bountiful 2017 with the special premium champagne package with a choice of either the Taittinger 05 or Krug Rose NV (only RM2,017 per bottle with order of the special Omakase) and savour gourmet creations such as the grilled lobster with jalapeno sauce and succulent Kobe beef with truffle tamari sauce.

On top of the dazzling dishes presented, an explosive ambience is promised to make your New Year’s Eve celebrations truly unforgettable when you dine Nobu. Look out for the dazzling display of fireworks from the restaurant’s panoramic vantage on the 56th floor of Petronas Tower 3 in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

The New Year’s Eve Omakase Dinner (RM580++ per person) will be open for two (2) seatings, with the first seating from 6:00pm to 8:30pm and the second at 9:00pm. Reservations will require a 50% deposit payment to secure the booking for an entire table. 


2. Dinner and countdown parties at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur

Revel in the luxurious offerings that The St. Regis KL has prepared for New Year’s Eve to go along with the stunning unobstructed views of the fireworks. For an indulgent meal, The Brasserie offers a 7-course dinner menu (6pm – 11pm; RM788 nett per person or RM988 nett per person with wine pairing) which includes complimentary access to the countdown party at Crystal. 

Otherwise, the countdown party at Crystal alone (8pm till late; RM288 nett per person including a glass of Veuve Clicquot and a continuous flow of premium canapés) features delicious bites, drinks, a guest DJ and LED performers. Alternatively, Astor Bar is having their own NYE party (8pm till late; RM288 nett per person including a glass of Veuve Clicquot) with a free flow of countdown canapés, drinks and entertainment by a live jazz band.

3. A gala dinner and dance at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

It’s a different kind of celebration as MO has put together a unique rendition of international and local favourites for your palate; and a live jazz and swing band to put your dancing skills to the test. The New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner & Dance is priced at RM298 nett per person with free flow of soft drinks and juices. 5. Have dinner or free-flow supper then enjoy the fireworks at Fuego@Troika Sky Dining

Avoid traffic and the throngs of crowds around KLCC, and instead feast on Fuego’s New Year’s Eve festive menu (RM550++ per person) for either dinner (6pm – 10pm) or free-flow supper (11pm onwards) till the fireworks show begin at midnight. From little plates of braised duck empanada, blue lobster and hokkaido scallop ceviche to grilled dishes such as Ecuadorian lamb rib stew, Wagyu sirloin marble 7 and yellow fin snapper), it’s everything you’ll need to ring in the new year. 

 

6. A sharing menu just for New Year’s Eve at Bowery Kitchen & Bar

One of the best places to catch the fireworks is Publika and one of the best places closest to it for dinner is Bowery Kitchen & Bar. Start the countdown clock with their sharing set menu (RM150 per pax) featuring signature items like Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Popcorn, Quattro Formaggi Pizza and Roasted Lamb Shoulder – all to be enjoyed with a delectable dessert platter and a bottle of house pouring wine or sparkling juice. There will also be party favours and live performances.
