2. Catcher in the rye

The new kid on the Seksyen 17 block comes from the same minds as Taman Desa’s Wild Sheep Chase and it’s exactly the kind of cafe you can unwind at with its neutral toned interior dashed with an abundance of natural light and leafy elements. On the menu is a wide variety of comfort food, desserts and good coffee.

3. Cureé

Over in KL is a cafe worth exploring for two good reasons: Hokkaido-inspired soup curries for the soul and a Pinterest-worthy interior you won’t want to leave. They also have a few Japanese fusion breakfast items such as okonomiyaki waffle and a mashed avocado toast.

5. Road to Emmaus

Subang folks would probably have passed by this hidden gem. Still relatively new with a humble menu of coffee, tea, kombucha, sandwiches and cakes, the community cafe is great for quiet and intimate catch-ups.
