The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur introduces a new Afternoon Tea menu

Afternoon tea affairs are one of the classic rituals of The St. Regis brand and with a new Chef de Patisserie on board, you can expect it to be a little different. The reimagined Classic Afternoon Tea is born from native French Hassan Mohammed’s years of pastry knowledge and his exceptional vision of combining ingredients together. But above all, Hassan says the menu is a culinary journey around the world itself.

Most of the fruits are sourced from local vendors. The salmon is imported from Scotland instead of the usual Norwegian kind and there’s Alaskan King Crab too. Then there’s the cream and cheese which are from France. Our favourite bit about the menu? The all-you-can-eat savoury canapés. The sweet pastries, on the other hand, are served in the traditional tiered trays. Savour them all with tea—guests will have six TWG flavours to choose from—or coffee as the accompaniment.

The Classic Afternoon Tea is available daily (3pm – 6pm on weekdays, and 2pm – 6pm on weekends) and is priced at RM140 nett per person or RM220 nett per person with a glass of Veuve Clicquot.
