#CheatDayEats: Pizzas

A party favourite, great for sharing, and the perfect hearty meal for one on a cold winter’s night, pizza has won over the hearts of many as a familiar source of comfort food. Dominoes may sound like a good idea for a lazy day in, but if you are out and about, here are 3 places for a satisfying cheat day fix:

1. La Risata

La Risata means “the laughter”, and is aptly named so with the all-around good vibes and homely ambience the restaurant brings. The décor exudes a rustic Italian charm, while the pizzas come just the way we like them—thin, crispy crust, generous in portion, and with a scrumptious variety of toppings to choose from.

2. Ben’s General Food Store

This might not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of Italian food, but it is most certainly a great place for pizza. Serving over 20 varieties of savoury pizzas, there is even a selection of sweet toppings for your after-meal cravings—yes, you can have pizza for dessert too.

3. Mikey’s New York Pizza

Mikey’s New York Pizza has been a crowd favourite ever since it opened its doors in Bangsar last year, and for good reason: pizzas here boast generous toppings, made with fresh ingredients and a deliciously thin, crisp crust. For those who find parking in Bangsar to be a tricky affair, perhaps its new branch in Mid Valley Megamall will be your new haunt for a serving of the perfect slice.
