Cop or drop: All the clunky sneakers spotted on the AW18 catwalks
The ugly shoes are here to stay
Ugly sneakers, dad shoes, or grandpa sneakers—call them what you want, but one thing's for sure: they're not going anywhere anytime soon. With throwback trends being all the rage now, it's to no surprise that the chunky footwear—popular in the '90s and '00s—is being revived. From the eyebrow-raising colour combinations to the thick soles and some, given a dirty and stained finish, the orthopaedic-looking kicks may not be the most pleasing to the eyes, but ultimately, that's what makes it cool.
